White Horses Lesson 3
If you choose to do the optional "Home Fun Activities" remember to keep them in your tote bag so that your child can use them class. We won't use them every week, but when we do, your child will be thrilled to participate with their own puppets and props.
The ability to sequence the events in a story is a key comprehension strategy for reading. Sequencing is also an important component of problem-solving in other curriculum areas, including science and social studies. The ‘Hey Diddle Diddle’ cards are a convenient tool you can use with your child to practice this skill at a simple, age-appropriate level.
Optional home fun activity: Color and cut out the Hey Diddle Diddle cards on page 29 in your workbook
(Remember, these activities are optional but can be a great bonding experience to do with your child during the week.)
