Password not working?
If it is the very first time logging in and a password isn't working, you can't hit the "forgot your password" link because you've never actually logged in.
Attempting to reset will send you 'round and 'round in frustrated circles. You must email the office to get a password reset.
Missing music?
If you log in and don't see the albums you expect, you'll need to refresh your app by pulling down or holding and dragging your finger down on the screen. You should see a "refresh wheel" at the top of your screen. The albums should pop up after this.
If this doesn't work, log out of the app, close the app from your background apps on your phone, re-open and log back in.
If you are still experiencing issues, email the office to request a manual sync for your account.
Music won't play?
This may be a syncing problem. Most likely the app has been updated and you'll need to delete any downloaded albums by clicking on the trash can in the upper right-hand corner. Then close the app, re-open, and redownload that album.
Any other issue?
The best fix-all is to completely close the app, remove it from your background apps, re-open it, log out, and log back in.
Here's an explanation of what each icon means on the bottom portion of the app, from left to right:
a. Gray Eighth-Notes Icon:
8-Note Tone Bells—touch the bell and it plays the tone
Digital Keyboard—touch the key and it plays a tone
Digital Autoharp—push the chord and slowly strum the strings (works best on a tablet or ipad)
NOTE: The mute button on the phone must be in the "non-mute" position, AND your volume must be turned up, for these to work.
b. Ribbon Icon:
Learning Activities—Sol-Mi activities for Sound Beginnings (at this point nothing for LPM)
c. BIG Green Eighth-Note Icon:
This is the music player. The app opens up to this icon by default. Here is where you play the music from the album selected.
d. Bell Icon:
This is the notifications center. One-way messages can be sent by teachers to the whole class and received by parents. This is where you'll receive important messages from me with links to our weekly Parent Notes. Please be sure you have notifications turned on both within the app (click the settings wheel in the top right corner), and ALSO in your phone's main notification settings, for the LPM app specifically.
Note from Mrs. Chele: They are still working out some of the bugs in this part of the app. If you have your notifications turned on in both places and are STILL not actively receiving a notification when I send a message, please click on the "give feedback" button and let tech support know, so they can fix the glitch for you. This is happening only occasionally, for some people.
e. Person Icon:
This is where you can access the Dashboard, as both a parent and a teacher.
